Vision
We aspire to inculcate to the students a profound
interest and understanding of the human past that endeavors to nurture and
enhance the students’ critical abilities as well as their humanistic creative
potentials. As such, we engage the students to find self-fulfillment and at the
same time serve as catalysts of social transformation all geared at the
preservation and cultivation of knowledge and the affirmation of the sacredness
of life.
Liga Historia, in its unquenchable
thirst for truth, is committed to the
integrative development and promotion of history as a field of study. We
aim to provide university students with a deeper sense of history manifested through
capable research and services that are meaningful and historically competent as
well as activities that will further
their wisdom and broaden their interest in the past. We also seek to
enhance the organization’s well-being by initiating activities that are
befitting and responsive to the needs not only of the organization but also of
the society and country by instilling in the students a genuine and unwavering sense
of pride in their own nation’s culture,
heritage and identity.
